Bark in the Park
Calling all dog Lovers! - New for 2012.
Naomi House children’s hospice has announced details of a brand new event to take place in Southampton and Basingsoke.
Called Bark in the Park, this unique family fun day will take place on 11th March at the Royal Victoria Country Park in Southampton and also at the Basingstoke Memorial Park on the 25th March.
The day will feature a special dog friendly treasure hunt through the beautiful surroundings, with the reward of canine treats at the end. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the spectacle of a dog agility show, and numerous stalls selling dog related goodies. There will even be the chance to enter your four legged friend into an alternative dog show where mutts and mongrels are most welcome.
Organisers are urging the pubic to come along and register themselves and their four legged friends on the day. Registration begins at 10.00am and costs just £5 per dog with additional dog members of the same family costing £2.50.

We’re really looking forward to the event and can’t wait to meet lots of Hampshire’s hounds.”
