Arjowiggins Graphic

Arjowiggins

Fourteen staff from Arjowiggins Graphic, based in Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke have completed a walk to the summit of Snowdon in a bid to raise much needed funds for Naomi House.

The team, which includes staff from the sales, customer services and marketing division from the world’s leading manufacturer of innovative and environmental paper solutions, chose the physical challenge as part of the company’s annual team building event.

Staff raised a total of £3,617.36 which will be donated to Naomi House.  Angela De Vorchik, Operational Marketing Manager at Arjowiggins Graphic said: “The walk to the summit was a real challenge but we focused at working as a team to help each other reach the top. This is a fantastic achievement for the team who have worked really hard to fundraise.  Everyday, Naomi House helps to relieve the pressures faced by families caring for a very sick child who won’t live to become an adult.  We hope the donation will help to make a difference to some of the families’ lives.”

Emma Willshire, Corporate Fundraiser for Naomi House said,  “The team from Arjowiggins Graphic have really pulled together to achieve the £3,617.36 they have donated to the hospice.  This substantial sum will help us to provide respite care and support in the two units at Sutton Scotney.  We are delighted that the organisation has chosen to help our families and young people.”
