Giant Easter Egg Hunt at Highclere Castle
Once again we are holding our annual Easter Egg Hunt in the beautiful grounds of Highclere Castle, courtesy of Lord and Lady Carnarvon. Last year the event attracted more than 850 children and hope for 1000 this year.
Come and join in the treasure hunt fun this Easter Sunday and enter the Grand Easter Bonnet competition for the chance to win prizes! Other attractions on the day include a tombola, bouncy castle, ten-pin bowling, face painting, performances by the East Woodhay Silver Band and more...

Entry to the grounds
Adults: £4
Children: £3 (Under 12) Children's admission includes Treasure Hunt ticket.
The castle is also open all day on Easter Sunday. (Castle charges apply). Castle opens at 11am, please note th treasure hunt begins at 2pm. Dogs are not permitted in the Castle, the gardens or grounds, except guide dogs.
Can you help?
This year we are aiming to increase our numbers and of course the amount we raise. To help us achieve this can you help with the following;
- Company promotion - Company promotion - With 900 children and their parents/guardians attending the event plus 900 members of the public who will be visiting the castle all of which have the opportunity to see your company and logo. So take advantage of this great advertising opportunity!
- £100 - Sponsor the entrance tent
£50 - Display your company banner or signage in the car park
£20 - Display your company banner or signage along the drive leading up to the castle or around the treasure hunt route.
£20 – Sponsor a treasure hunt location and a have a bunny named after your company.
£20 – Sponsor a treasure hunt location and a have a lamb named after your company.
- Donating raffle prizes and chocolate easter eggs. As a thank you we will acknowledge your company by displaying your logo on treasure hunt maps, registration/entrance gate and at the finishing point where the eggs are collected.
- Volunteering on the day - registration of entrants, marshalling the treasure hunt route and general help on hand. As a thank you we will acknowledge your company by displaying your logo on treasure hunt maps,registration/entrance gate and at the finishing point.
