Five go up Mount Snowdon!
Kyle Mcdermott, Luke Coughlan, Beth Moore, Tom Morris and Ollie Smart
Earlier this month, five Hall and Woodhouse team members from the Smuggler’s Inn at Osmington, Weymouth took on the Mount Snowdon challenge. Their aim was to add a further £500 to the fantastic £1,500 they have already raised for Naomi House and jacksplace this year.
The hike was organised by the team as part of the Hall and Woodhouse’s Charity of the Year fundraising.
The Blandford based brewers are currently supporting Naomi House and jacksplace by raising money at around 55 public houses across the region. These include the Ship Inn and Smugglers in Weymouth, who have also taken part in super hero themed fancy dress, walked around the Isle of Wight, held quiz nights and have even kindly donated their tips!
One hiker, Kyle Mcdermott, said “Snowdon really was the most beautiful place I’ve been to in a long time, I think we should go back next year and walk up it backwards!”
“We’ve got a lot of fundraising ideas for next year and Beth has already been looking into a Kilimanjaro climb”
Fiona Hansford, Corporate Fundraising Executive at Naomi House said “The Smugglers Inn are doing a brilliant job with their fundraising and have really taken Naomi House and jacksplace into their hearts. The support from Hall and Woodhouse continues over Christmas where we will receive a donation for each Christmas Menu booking made”
“As we have been providing invaluable respite to many families in and around Dorset for the last 14 years, local support and awareness is extremely important to us.”
