Breaking news - Father Christmas in flying visit to Naomi House!
Santa landing on Tellytubby Hill
Children and young people at Naomi House and jacksplace were in for a surprise on Friday 9 December as a Lynx helicopter, piloted by officers of the Army Air Corps, landed in the back garden!
The pilots from 671 Squadron - Army Air Corps were under considerable pressure, as they were tasked with transporting a very important dignitary: Father Christmas.
A large crowd of youngsters, their families and the team from Naomi House watched as the pilots made a perfect landing and Father Christmas stepped off the helicopter with a large sack of gifts.

Every child was given an early Christmas gift and had the chance to meet Father Christmas and take a close look at the three ton helicopter.

We understand that Rudolph and the rest of the reindeers were very grateful to the Army Air Corps for helping in this way. They are currently resting at a secret location at the North Pole before their mammoth journey which starts on 24 December.
We too are very grateful to 671 Squadron - Army Air Corps for bringing Father Christmas to Naomi House and for helping to make Christmas so special for the children, young people and families who are staying with us.
