Open Garden at Elbow Corner in Basingstoke

Elbow

People from all over England and even America and Australia visited Mick and Junie Penfold's delightful garden at 8 Elbow Corner in Basingstoke during 14 - 22 August and raised over £500 for Naomi House and jacksplace.  We counted over 220 pots of flowers all grown, planted and tended by Mick and Junie.  Elbow corner is situated just behind St Michaels Church in Basingstoke and you can hardly believe you are only a stone's throw from the centre of Basingstoke.

They open their garden in memory of their much loved daughter Deborah who died aged 15 and so we are very grateful and honoured that they choose to support us.  Over the last few years they have purchased televsions, bed linen and videos for the children and young people who visit Naomi House to enjoy.  With the money they have raised this year they have decided to buy two Dutalier rocking chairs and stools and two Hitachi ipod docking boxes.

If you have a pretty or unique garden and would like to raise funds for Naomi House by holding an Open Day , please give us a call on 01962 843513.  We would love to hear from you!

THANK YOU MICK & JUNIE FROM EVERYONE AT NAOMI HOUSE!
