Moonlight Walks

Moonlight Workers?

Moonlight Workers?

A big thank you to all the ladies who joined us over the last few weekends for our first series of Spring Moonlight Walks in Winchester and Newbury. We wanted to let you know that the two walks have raised nearly £35,000 for Naomi House children’s hospice! Thank you and well done to everyone who took part and raised funds! It was a fantastic atmosphere and we hope you all enjoyed it!

Saturday 19th March saw 228 ladies walk the historic route around the streets of Winchester, to date these ladies have pledged over £18,000 for Naomi House children’s hospice. Last Saturday night then saw 195 ladies walk the 8km route around the streets of Newbury with pledges received at £15,000 for the hospice. We know not everyone submitted their pledge cards from the walks so we may potentially raise £40,000 for the hospice.

Our thanks also go to the Foresters who kindly sponsored both walks and came along on the night to open the walks. To find out more about their work please visit their website.

We will certainly be returning to Winchester and Newbury again next Spring so do look out for details nearer the time!
