Le Creuset cooks up a dream day!

Long standing Naomi House supporter Le Creuset, hosted a fun cookery day at their UK Head Office demonstration kitchen in Andover this week as part of a fantastic auction prize for the Heart Radio ‘Have a Heart’ appeal earlier in the year.

Basingstoke mum Joanne Day won the prize as a birthday present for her daughter Becky who is studying GCSE cookery. Becky and her friend Charlotte Pocock had a super day cooking with Le Creuset products and creating delicious recipes from around the world under the guidance of Home Economist Davina Tibbetts.

Le Creuset’s generous donation of the cooking experience, plus a starter set of cast iron Le Creuset cookware and overnight stay at a luxury hotel, helped the Appeal to raise a staggering £337,563 for children's hospice services in the UK. The funds will be used to buy each hospice a Mini car for making visits to children and families in their own home and we shall be taking delivery of our lovely new Mini in September.
