Kier Moss lends a helping hand!
Kier Moss operatives at work
Last year we were thrilled when Kier Moss selected Wessex Children’s Hospice Trust as one of their charities of the year and just recently they donated materials and labour to construct a new storage shed.
One of the problems we had at Naomi House and jacksplace was the ever growing need for more storage space for volunteer workers involved in maintaining the grounds of the two hospices to store their garden tools.
After approaching Kier Moss we were delighted when they agreed to help provide the extra storage facility, and in just three days operatives constructed a new workshop extension from materials they donated to the project.
Andy Barnett our maintenance engineer, said, “We are extremely grateful to Kier Moss for building a much needed shed for us at Naomi House. We have a very dedicated team of volunteers who give their time all year round to maintain the gardens and as all can see they do a wonderful job. The gardens at Naomi House and jacksplace provide a beautiful, peaceful safe haven for visiting families, as well as a space for the children and young people to let off steam. The new shed has been provided to give these volunteers a storage facility which means they can keep all their tools and equipment safe and dry.”
