IBM go green fingered!
IBM enjoying their gardening day
Staff from IBM, North Harbour, enjoyed a day of gardening at Naomi House and jacksplace. There were smiles and fun all round as IBM took on various tasks around the gardens to ensure that it is kept in tip top condtion and looking lovely and inviting for the children, young adults and their families that use these wonderful outdoor spaces.
Groups were allocated lots of different tasks including planting, weeding, constructing compost bins, tidying edges - everyone worked extremely hard. We are very grateful to IBM for allowing their staff time out of the office to volunteer and we hope they enjoyed the opportunity to help make a real difference at the hospices.
