Recycle your old and unwanted WEEE!

We want your old WEEE!

We want your old WEEE!

We are delighted that Basingstoke-based Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recycling and refurbishment company Waste-IT, has partnered with Naomi House to recycle items of publically donated WEEE.

Waste-IT will collect and recycle unwanted electrical and electronic items from the our warehouse in Winnall, Winchester, and previously handed in by the public at one our charity shops situated across central and southern England. In addition, supporters in the Basingstoke area, can help Naomi House by dropping off electrical items direct to Waste IT at the Basingstoke Business Centre, Winchester Road, Basingstoke.

In order to help encourage regular WEEE donations from the public, and to raise awareness in this new and important revenue-generating waste stream, promotional leaflets are now distributed at Naomi House till points throughout the region.

Once the equipment has been processed, Waste-IT subsequently donates to Naomi House 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the materials.

This is great news as we were previously unable to accept some electrical and electronic items for health and safety reasons, so this latest revenue stream comes as a much needed and welcome addition.
