Naomi House Children’s Hospice has appointed Hilary Jukes as the face of fundraising for supporters in North East Hampshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire.
Hilary, who has an extensive background in voluntary charity work and events organising, joins the hospice’s Winchester-based fundraising team as a Community Fundraiser from CMA Financial Recruitment in Havant. She will be covering Basingstoke, Blackwater Valley, Chippenham, Devizes, Marlborough, Reading, Swindon, Trowbridge, Waverley and Windsor.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting Naomi House friends, both old and new, who play such a vital role in helping us to raise the £2.5 million it costs to keep the hospice open every year,” she said. “I’d really like to hear from enthusiastic people of all ages and religious backgrounds who can help me spread the word about Naomi House. Fundraising is fun as well as a great way to meet new friends.”
Hilary’s experience includes assisting at schools for physically handicapped children and she is also a Trustee of the Milton Glee Club Choir in her home town of Portsmouth, where she has been a member for over 25 years.
“Hilary’s experience and enthusiasm will make her an integral member of the fundraising team,” said Naomi House’s Fundraising Manager, Jane Tabor. “She is sure to become a familiar face to our friends across the region.”
