James, the face of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen, chose the unique cards from a selection on sale at the shop. “These cards are a great way to give support to Naomi House and keep in touch with friends. The funds that are raised by the sale of the cards will help to continue the care and support provided by the hospice to children with life-limiting illnesses” James said as he purchased the cards from local artist Daphne Vaughan. “at Christmastime we can all help to make a difference to the lives of the children who visit Naomi House by purchasing the cards on sale in the Naomi House shops across central southern England” he continued.
Christmas has been captured on two festive cards designed for Naomi House by local artist Daphne Vaughan. The cards feature two unique designs; one of very jolly Father Christmas skating on the rink in front of the cathedral, the second is a beautiful dove of peace.
“The designs are exclusive to Naomi House, and profits from the sale of the cards will raise funds to help Naomi House continue its work to support life-limited children and their families. Daphne’s work captures perfectly the true meaning of Christmas and we are delighted that she has once again provided such special designs for our Christmas collection,” said Ray Kipling, Managing Director of Naomi House
The cards are available from Naomi House charity shops or by calling 01962 843513.
