A Hampshire author/comedian has written a children’s picture story book. Author Jan Jack, said “I’m always interested in raising funds for Naomi House, and having already written a story that children seem to love, thought this was an ideal way to help. I’ve had some great support with the project - my employer, National
Grid, has paid for the printing, Claire Warwick provided the illustrations, and The Creative Cardboard Company supplied the promotional stands to go into the shops. This means of course that every penny goes to Naomi House. All we need now is a publishing house to take up the ISBN number and give the book a really wide distribution.”
“It’s not often that anyone writes and dedicates a book to us so we are delighted and very grateful” said Jane Tabor, Head of Fundraising. “Bertie, the car, has some amusing adventures, which will delight readers of many ages.
The Naughty Motor Car costs £3.99 and can be bought from one of the Naomi House shops, or by sending a cheque made payable to Tiny Mouse Books, Freepost RRAJ-XXYT-UKCL, National Grid Property Holdings Ltd, Aviary Court, Wade Road, Basingstoke RG24 8GZ.
All proceeds will go to Naomi House.
