Andy Burrows first visited Naomi House last year to meet children and staff at the hospice. He was so touched by the environment and the way the hospice aims to provide warm, homely surroundings he made it clear that he wanted to do something to help. "I took at trip down to Naomi House and played the drums with the terminally ill kids, it's an incredible place. It really affected me" Andy recalled recently.
Over the past few months Andy has been working on a new solo album of songs, written by his friend Peter Dixon, called Colour of My Dreams. Andy, who is a patron for jacksplace@naomihouse, soon realised that the album could help all of us at Naomi House raise awareness of the need for jacksplace@naomi house and help to raise funds towards the appeal for £12million to build equip and run the new hospice.
"We are overwhelmed by the way Andy has taken the appeal for jacksplace@naomihouse to his heart. And we are looking forward to the release date" said Ray Kipling, Chief Executive of Naomi House. "We are all very excited about the album. It is a fantastic opportunity for Naomi House to raise awareness of the need for jacksplace@naomihouse, and to encourage people to support our appeal" he said.
Colour of My Dreams will be released on 26th May. Find out more about the album, or to pre-order your copy visit www.colourofmydreams.com
