10,000 mile fundraising challenge for Basingstoke based Sainsbury's Retail Service Centre

The Sainsbry's Retail Service Centre fundraising team

The Sainsbry's Retail Service Centre fundraising team

Basingstoke based, Sainsbury’s Retail Service Centre, on Houndsmills Industrial Estate have taken up a new fundraising challenge in a bid to get fit and raise much needed funds for Naomi House children’s hospice.

Eleven colleagues from the Service Centre are taking part in an amazing 10,000 mile group bike ride in the hope to raise £5,000. The bike ride, which is happening up until Christmas, is taking place on a static bike within the canteen and various bike rides across the Hampshire countryside.

Staff at the Service Centre chose Naomi House as their charity of the year in April and have been fundraising for the children’s hospice ever since. They hope to raise £10,000 in total, to date they have raised over £4,000 from organising a number of raffles and competitions, and running fundraising activities at local community based events.

If you would like to support the team on their bike ride, please visit their justgiving sponsorship page.

To find out more about how your business can get involved with supporting Naomi House, please contact Emma Willshire or Helen Lovell on 01962 843513 or email corporate@naomihouse.org.uk
