Employee fundraising includes sponsored events, raffles, cake-stalls, book-sales and many other ideas. Some companies organise a monthly dress down day, with a small contribution for wearing own clothes. Contributions may be from a single event, or built up over a year.
Some companies are able to boost contributions by matching the funds raised by employees with an equivalent company contribution. This can double the overall amount employees raise.
