Beard & Coles first became involved with Naomi House in 2005 when they were looking for a local charity to support through our Charity Golf Day. Naomi House was suggested to us by the marketing consultant arranging the day in aid of Naomi House. The day was a great success and has now become an annual event with Naomi House being our permanent nominated charity.
All of the Directors of Beard & Coles have visited Naomi House and as Matthew Beard, Managing Director, says "no one who has seen the wonderful, positive environment for the children can fail to be inspired and want to do more to help in this essential work".
Matthew is fully supportive of the assistance that Beard & Cole give to Naomi House, and he describes how the company has helped, "Apart from the annual Charity Golf Day in May of each year we also try to help through supporting the local fund-raising committee by assisting with their mailings and posters. We also inserted a Naomi House leaflet into our customer newsletter in the autumn which was mailed to our 3,000 client base."
"Jill Livingstone, Corporate Fundraiser for Naomi House, attended one of our monthly staff meetings last year to talk about the work and to raise awareness of our chosen charity throughout the organisation. This means that all of our employees are aware of our nominated charity and can be involved in raising not just money but also local awareness", he continued.
