Charitable Trusts & Major Donors

The provision of respite, palliative and bereavement care and support services, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, costs around £2.5 million pounds per year. We are very grateful for the support we receive from major donors and charitable trusts which contribute to this total.

Support a specific project

Their support is essential, we rely on major donations to help us provide:

  • Specialist nursing care
  • Therapeutic activities such as outings, play, music, hydrotherapy and multi-sensory therapy
  • A homely environment for families to receive care
  • A bereavement support service for parents and siblings
  • A hospice at home service to provide emergency respite care
  • Education and training for our palliative care staff.

Naomi House children's hospice has a dedicated team who work closely with charitable trusts and individual donors. We are happy to discuss funding options and ensure that major gifts are allocated according to donors' wishes.

Ongoing Support

A number of our donors have chosen to support a specific project over several years. This support is invaluable, as it enables us to plan ahead knowing that funding is secure.

Recognising Your Charitable Contribution

In addition to sending you progress reports on our work, we would be pleased to recognise your generosity in a variety of ways, and to discuss any options with you. These could include:

  • Invitations to meet our Care Team and to tour our specialist facilities at Naomi House
  • Naming a sponsored nurse or member of our specialist play team
  • Acknowledging your gift in our Annual Review or other publications.
