It not long now until our amazing flagship event takes place!
This historic walk runs from Winchester Cathedral to Salisbury Cathedral through beautiful countryside with stunning views across the counties of both Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Winchester to Salisbury (26 miles) – The walk starts between 8.00am and 9.00am at Winchester Cathedral. The route encompasses a diverse range of terrain and will take between 6 – 9 hours on average, so please make sure you are physically prepared.
Broughton to Salisbury (12 miles) – The walk here starts between Noon and 1.30pm, allowing you to meet our marathon walkers. This is a wonderful but less challenging walk.
Registration – Please note our registration fee is £15 per adult and £10 for under 18’s. If you plan to register on the day please be aware the costs will increase to £20 per adult and £15 for under 18’s. If you are registering as a group of 5 or more then please contact us directly so we can process your booking efficiently.
Fundraising – We ask that each walker aims to raise £200 sponsorship to contribute to the valuable work of Naomi House and jacksplace. The Events Team will provide you with lots of sponsorship advice and ideas to get you started and reach your goal. Download a sponsorship form for the 26 mile walk and the 12 mile walk and start fundraising now!
Lunches – These are available for hungry walkers at Broughton Village Hall, for a small fee of £5. Please note on your registration form if you wish to order one of these.
Buses – There is a bus service available from Salisbury to Winchester at the end of the walk, again for a small fee of £5. Please note on your registration form if you wish to book a seat.
We would like to extend our thanks to our sponsors GMB Union, MITIE, HIldon Water and Hunts Foodservice for their support with this event.
