On Sunday June 8th please join us for our sponsored walk between two of the most beautiful buildings in Southern England, Winchester Cathedral and Salisbury Cathedral to raise vital funds to help run Naomi House and to aid our jacksplace@naomihouse appeal.
Approximately 26 miles long, the walk starts outside Winchester Cathedral at 9 a.m. and follows the route of the historic Clarendon Way all the way to Salisbury. The walk encompasses a diverse range of terrain and will take about 9 hours, so please make sure that you are physically prepared for the challenge. 26 miles too much for you? We have a 12 mile walk leaving from Broughton between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm and joining the route to Salisbury, a wonderful but less challenging walk. Packed lunches and transport back to your start point available by prior arrangement.
Last year’s walk was a huge success. Over 300 walkers took part on a gloriously sunny day and raised nearly £58,000. We hope the 2008 walk will be an even greater triumph. If you would prefer not to do the walk, but instead could volunteer to do a stint as a marshal, please do get in touch.
Entry form are available from http://www.naomihousewalk.org.uk.
